Nigeria's CAF Champions League representatives, Enugu Rangers has shown the country's U20 national team that they still have a lot of work to do ahead of the African Youth Championship slated for Algeria after the Flying Antelopes outscored the Flying Eagles 2-0 for their second win in four days over the John Sam Obuh tutored lads in Enugu.
The Flying Eagles lost by the odd goal in Nanka last Sunday and lost plethora of chances including a penalty kick awarded them in the hotly contested tie.
But it was a different ball game at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Wednesday evening as the Flying Antelopes again took the AYC defending champions to the cleaners 2-0 after 90 minutes.
Gangling striker,Sanusi Sani netted both goals in the 43rd and 78th minutes to fulfil the promise he made to wreck the Flying Eagles in the return leg.
Just like it was last Sunday when the U20 had a spot kick and fluffed it through Abduljelil Ajagun, the Flying Eagles got another penalty kick in the return leg and yet again the taker, Alhaji Gero couldn't beat Emmanuel Daniel in goal for Rangers from 12 yards.
The Flying Eagles returned to Nanka with a date to negotiate with Federation Cup kings, Heartland of Owerri while Rangers will proceed to Ilorin for another friendly tie with Kwara United on Sunday 3 February 2013.
Both have contrasting assignments in the offing with the U20 poised to defend the AYC won in South Africa two years ago while Rangers on their part are staging a comeback to continental game in the lucrative Champions League after some years of absence.
