The two NPL sides will size each other for supremacy in the first of their two confrontations this week before the start of the 2012/2013 seasonABS will today play play a grade A friendly match with 3SC of Ibadan at the upgraded Kwara state international stadium Ilorin.
The match which kicks off by 3pm will afford the Saraki boys opportunity to check the readiness of the 25-man squad recently released by the Technical Manager Coach Kabiru Dogo.
A return leg of the encounter will hold at Lekan Salami stadium Ibadan On Thursday 31 January.
ABS FC are expected to leave for Lokoja for a 10-day intensive camping ahead of the NPL kick off.
General Manager of ABS FC Alloy Chukwuemeka confirmed the planned friendly encounter and says he is confident his players will not disappoint him in both matches.
"We have a good team and they are young boys who want to make their mark in the Nigeria Premier League," Chukwuemeka said.
The two teams are preparing for the new season which starts February 16th.
