Nigeria's U-20 team will leave for Nanka in Anambra State next Wednesday and will make use of the facilities at the Nanka Stadium for the next three weeks, a top official has told Goal.com.
The team is preparing for the African Youth Championship where they are pooled alongside Mali, DR Congo and Gabon in a tough Group B.
The team will stay in Nanka before proceeding to Tunisia for the final phase of the build up prior to hitting Algeria for the AYC to defend the crown won two years ago in South Africa.
While in Nanka, the team is expected to play friendly matches against top Premier League clubs that are based in the south east including Enyimba and Heartland.
Nigeria defeated the cubs of Cameroon 3-2 in the final and got to the quarter final at the FIFA U20 World Cup before losing to France 1-3 in Colombia.
