the Super Eagles now have a full house of players for their Wednesday friendly against Catalonia
Igiebor joined camp immediately the team landed in Barcelona. The Super Eagles team left Faro at 4am, and experienced some delay at the Faro Airport, but eventually arrived Lisbon at about 9am.
The officials of the Nigerian team had been at odds about Igiebor's whereabouts on Monday but the team had their last training on Tuesday with Celtic’s Rabiu Ibrahim also part of the training session.
The flight took just 35minutes and after immigration formalities the team arrived in Barcelona at 11:20am.
the team was welcomed to the Spanish city by some officials of the Nigerian Embassy led by Head of Chancery, Mr Safiu Olaniyan.
There were also about 20 Nigerian football supporters who were at the airport to bid the team welcome.
On arrival at their abode - Hotel Fira Palace, they were addressed by Mr Olaniyan on behalf of the Nigerian Ambassador to Spain, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu.
Meanwhile Catalonia have listed 10 Barcelona players and seven Espanyol players that includes Victor Valdes, Xavi Hernandez, Carlos Puyol, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Martin Montoya, Sergio Roberto, Cristian Tello and Marc Bartra.
Espanyol's contingent includes Joan Verdi, Joan Capdevilla, Sergio Garcia, Kiko Casilas, Raul Rodriguez, Victor Sanchez, and Sergio Tejera. Others in the team list are AC Milan’s Bojan Rkic, Getafe’s Alvaro Vazquez, Jordi Amat and Francesco Medina ‘Piti’ both of Rayo Vallecano and Red Bulls Zalburg’s Jonathan Soriaro.
The match time has also been brought forward, as it would now be played at 7pm, Nigerian time from 9pm that it was earlier slated for.
