The Peoples Elephant have lined up matches to test their mettle in preparation for the upcoming 2012/2013 season
Enyimba international Fc have earmarked four friendly matches one for each day between now and Sunday.
The Technical Adviser of the Enyimba FC, Salisu Yusuf said that Enyimba arranged those friendly matches to test their might, and the will power of the old and the new players ahead of a very busy season in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).
The club has set aside a date with new Nigeria National League (NNL) entrants, Bolowotan on Thursday and the other three matches are slated for Friday, Saturday and Sunday against yet to be identified opponents.
“We are going to play friendly matches for the remainder of this week. We will play Bolowotan on Thursday (today) and against three other teams till Sunday,” Salisu told Goal.com.
“We want to test players we have and see where else is needed to shore up as the league season opener gathers momentum,” he added.
Enyimba finished fifth last season and were beaten by Heartland in the Federation Cup final and so for the second consecutive season will not be playing on the continent.
