On Sunday, the final day of the tournament, Argentina, who are pointless and have scored no goals take on the exciting Lebanon team in the first game of the day while Nigeria will seek to consolidate their credentials with another win against the Portuguese team.
Coach Adamu Ejor of the Super Sand Eagles told Goal.com that his team will not be resting on the seemingly easy 5-0 victory over Argentina.
“You can see that one plus one in football is not two all the time.
“We will not think that because we beat Lebanon and Lebanon beat Portugal that we will beat Portugal.
“The Lebanese team are an unknown quantity which is why we could not prepare for them and as they nearly surprised us they finally did to Portugal,” he added.
Nigeria has six points with a six-goal difference followed by Lebanon who have three points and zero goals difference, Portugal with three points and three goals difference and in the rear is Argentina who no points, scored zero goals and conceded nine.
The first match kicks off at 2pm (Nigerian time) at the Eko Atlantic City on Sunday.
