The owners of the Ilorin based side say they will fund the team to achieve their desired results next year
Media officer Olayioye Ajide noted that the team is assured of adequate financial support as they get set to play in the Nigeria Premier League next season which starts in January.
"The Kwara State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Hajia Ramat Adeshina Abaya said the club should not worry about finance because they want the players to give their best when the season begins," said Ajide.
Hajia Ramat Abaya who led top ministry officials including the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Rodah Ajiboye to see the players in camp, stated that the ministry would hold close talks with the management board of the club with a determination to ensuring that Kwara United lacked nothing that may be needed in the season.
She urged the board, coaches, players and staff to live up to their billing as the state government expects brilliant and result-oriented performance in the new football season.
Kwara United Vice Chairman, Alhaji Solagberu equally appreciated the support of Ministry of Sport and the people of the state for rallying round the club as he assured that the club would contest the league shield and will not disappoint their teeming supporters this season.
He called for prompt attention to the requests of the club as running football club goes beyond bureaucratic bottlenecks.
Kwara United have signed on several players for the new season and has Samuel Unuanel as their new Technical Adviser.
Kwara United finished in the sixth position with 52 points last season.
