The former Rangers handler is optimistic his young squad will spring a surprise when the new season begins later this month
Nasarawa qualified alongside Nembe City, El-Kanemi and Bayelsa United to play in the NPL next season.
Dike noted that he has been able to recruit players who are ready to do their best and make Nasarawa United proud in the coming season.
"I met a dedicated crop of players on ground and also got some new boys who I am sure will dazzle a lot of people next season," Dike said.
"We have not recruited the big names in the League, but I am satisfied with the kind of players that we have in the team. They have shown in all the friendly matches that we have played that they are a determined bunch that will shock lots of football fans next season.
"I know we are going to do well in the League. That is not something we should worry ourselves about. The players are ready, the management led by club chairman Issac Danladi and the State Government have provided the enabling support to make us succeed.
"We just need some weeks to fully get prepared. But I want to assure that we will not just make up the numbers in the Premier League.
"We will prove our mettle and make sure that Nasarawa United is not disgraced," Dike said.
