Nigeria, Portugal, Lebanon and Argentina will take part in the tournament and Coach Ejor told Goal.com that he is confident of the players who are currently in camp in Badagry, noting that they are capable of retaining the trophy.
"We are not afraid of the countries that are coming. Yes it is true that all the countries coming are good and have Beach Soccer Leagues, but that will not put fear in us that we cannot retain the trophy.
"I have a good team and they are experienced enough to know what is at stake in this type of tournament.
"I know that Portugal have a very good player in João Victor Saraiva, popularly known as Madjer, but we are going to keep him in check and not allow him have his way when we come face to face with Portugal during the competition.
"I am so sure of the team that I have and the two weeks in camp will help us adjust very well so as to come out victorious for the second time.
"All hands are on deck to make sure that we don't lose the trophy," Ejor concluded. Nigeria defeated Brazil 9-4 in the final of last year’s maiden edition to lift the trophy.
