thumbnail Hello,

The two Nigerians got on the score sheet for their Ukrainian club on Friday away to Hoverla

Nigerian international, Lukman Haruna scored his first goal for Dynamo Kiev on Friday against Hoverla Uzhhorod.

Haruna, who transferred to the Ukrainian giants from Monaco after the 2010/11 season, equalised for Dynamo in the 14th minute after Sotirios Balafas had put Hoverla ahead in the 12th minute.

This was Haruna’s first goal for the club in 21 league appearances in which he has collected eight yellow cards.

Ideye then scored the second goal in the 18th minute to record his 13th goal of the season – one more than he recorded throughout last season in 27 games.

Haruna was not finished as he assisted the third Dynamo goal scored by Dudu in the 45th minute.

The Nigerian midfielder was replaced Ognjen Vukojevic in the 68th minute. Taye Taiwo also played in the encounter, lasting the whole 90 minutes – his 12th game, after his loan move from AC Milan.

Kiev have won only three times away from home in eight but the win over Hoverla ensures that they stay in the top three for the winter break and gives them a chance to fight for second place when the season resumes in February.

Dynamo are a massive 14 points behind log leaders, Shakhtar Donetsk and the win moved them into second position at least temporarily until Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk play away against Metalurh Donetsk on Saturday.
