BREAKING NEWS: Nigeria Premier League may start on December 22
The NPL board has given a tentative date for the league to commence after a meeting held in Abuja on Friday
There are indications that the 2012/13 Season of the Nigeria Premier League may start on December 22 following a meeting held by the NPL Board in Abuja on Friday.Goal.com can exclusively report that the NPL Board has proposed the date to be ratified by the NPL Congress which will hold in Kano.
The NPL is expected to have come to a full decision before the Nigeria Football Federation's Annual General Assembly that will hold in Port Harcourt on December 13.
Goal.com reported yesterday that the NFF has given the NPL the go-ahead to hold its congress.
