Kano Pillars get N94 million as take-off grant for next season
The Kano State Government has decided to motivate Kano Pillars players and officials by giving them the take off grant to prepare very well for next season
Kano State Government has released the sum of N94 million as take-off grant for the team to start preparation for next season.
Kano Pillars are currently the Nigeria Premier League Champions and will represent Nigeria in the Caf Champions League next year.
According to Idris Malikawa, the media officer of the club, the money will be used to recruit players and start adequate preparation for the coming season.
“The General Manager of the club, Abba Galadima has already taken delivery of the money and promised that they will use it to tackle the welfare of the players for the coming season.
“When other clubs are complaining that they don’t have money, Kano Pillars is blazing the trail in motivating the players and officials.
“I am sure the money will really go a long way into helping us get the best so that we can keep doing well in all competitions.
“I am very sure that nothing will disturb us from doing very well next year and we must thank the State Government for their love for the team,” Malikawa said.
The players are already in camp preparing for the coming season of the Npl but the date of resumption has yet to be announced.
