The former Akwa United goalkeeper has said that he joined Enyimba because he wants to make a name for himself
The former junior international noted that the new challenge will see him play for a big team in Africa for the first time in his career.
"This is the first time I will be playing for a big team. This is a new challenge I want for myself because I need to turn around my football career.
"Enyimba is big in all ramifications and I would say that this is the first time that I will be appearing in the colours of a club that is ambitious and wants to win at all times.
"I may have played for a lot of clubs, but I believe I am just starting my career. Since I started my football career, I have not played for any big club.
"I started with Zamfara United. From there, I moved to Nasarawa United and later joined Ocean Boys. Akwa United was my last club, so you can understand when I said that my career is just starting.
"I was not pressured into choosing Enyimba among the four clubs that needed my services. I knew exaclty what I wanted and I am ready to give my best when the new season begins.
"I have also seen the calibre of players that the club signed and I am happy that we have a good squad to challenge for all the titles next season.
"I want to do my best because I know that it requiries hard work and determination to succeed in a club like Enyimba. I know that everything will work well for us because we want to return to the continent," Thomas said.
Enyimba placed fourth last season with 54 points.
