New head coach of Kwara United, Samson Unuanel has told Goal.com that he wants to make the team one of the best in Nigeria.
Unuanel who last season was with Ocean Boys noted that he is in the right club where he hopes to achieve and win trophies for the Ilorin-based side.
"I want to make Kwara United one of the best clubs from next season. The best club not only in winning trophies, but in playing well, being disciplined and churning out good players every season.
"I want to say that this is my first real test as a coach in the Nigeria Premier League and I intend to do my best. Kwara United is an ambitious club and they are serious about returning to the continent.
"There is support from the Government, management and supporters and this is what I need to start a revolution with Kwara United.
"It is going to be a gradual process and I have good players that will transform my dreams into reality. I am confident that we will do well.
"I have been with the players for three weeks now and they are enthusiatic about writing their names in gold.
"We will take it as it comes as we prepare for next season. The Kwara State Government has promised adequate financial support and we are not going to dissapoint them.
"Right now we are having our pre season camp in Shagamu where we hope to look at the new players and try to make them play together with the old boys.
"I am confident that we will prove our mettle next season," Unuanel said.
Kwara United finished in the sixth position on 52 points last season.
