Nasarawa United Chairman: Why we signed Alphonsus Dike
The Lafia based side has said that experience on the job warranted the signing of the former Rangers coach as new handler
Nasarawa United chairman, Isaac Danladi has given reasons why they signed Alphonsus Dike as the new coach of the Lafia based side.
Danladi told Goal.com that Dike's experience and professional competence gave him the job.
"We looked at a lot of factors and we decided to bring in a highly experienced man on the job who will be able to mould the young players in the team into a perfect unit.
"Dike has worked with Heartland, Enyimba and Rangers and you will agree he is professionally qualified to be in charge of a young side like Nasarawa United.
"He will immediately get down to work from this week and we are confident that he is going to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the team.
"We are going to give him all the support because we want the team to succeed and the State Government has promised to give us all the support so that we can do our best next season.
"We have the team that won promotion for us intact and with few players joining the team, we are optimistic that Nasarawa United will do well in the Nigeria Premier League," Danladi said.
Coach Alphonsus Dike will officially be unveiled today in Lafia where he will be introduced to the players of the team.
