Eagles coach has hailed the handlers of the stadium for a good job the Eagles prepare to confront Liberia on SaturdayThe gaffer of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has thumped up the UJ Esuene Stadium,Calabar and has declared it ready for the senior national team's assault on the Liberia's Lone Stars come Saturday in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Speaking against the backdrop of the earlier statement credited to Eagles' captain, Joseph Yobo in the wake of the team's sloppy 2-0 win over the Amavubi of Rwanda in mid June.
The Big Boss stressed that the handlers of the stadium has done a marvellous job to keep the stadium ready for the Eagles and admonished that same thing should be done on the other stadia scattered across the country to ensure that the country is not bereft of good pitches to play games.
"The UJ Esuene Stadium is getting very better and those people that have worked on the pitch have done an excellent job and they should keep it up.
"This is one proof that we can really maintain things in Nigeria if we really want to do it. If we consider when we played in June till now there is a lot of difference. I want to thank the people of Calabar for doing a nice job."
