Nasarawa United has said that they will give consideration to the six coaches that have shown interest in becoming the coach of the team.
Former coach of the newly promoted side, Bala Nikyu will no longer take charge of the team after leading them to the elite division and the team is in dire search of a coach that will help them sustain their step up to the Nigeria Premier League and achieve a good position.
To achieve this objective, club Chairman, Isaac Danladi has told Goal.com that they will soon unveil a new coach for the team.
"We are not going to waste time in getting a new coach. Six coaches have shown interest and they will soon apply to handle the team.
"We are getting set to grab another coach that will should start work almost immediately. We want to be able to prepare very well for the NPL because we know that it is a different League compared to the Nigeria National League.
"I promise that the coach that we are going to sign will translate the ideals of the club and we are not just going to compete in the League.
"We want to make our mark and show that our promotion is no fluke. We are grateful to the Nasarawa State Government for their support for the team.
"We are confident we will not dissapoint them in the Nigeria Premier League," Danladi added.
