The new Celtic defender hopes to make the Champions League team on Wednesday as he finally gets set to move his family to Israel
Goal.com can exclusively reveal that new Celtic defender Efe Ambrose has secured a work permit to enable him play in Scotland. He will leave Israel on Monday night to resume with the Scottish champions.
Ambrose told Goal.com on Monday that he will leave Ashdod for Scotland and will hope to play in Wednesday’s Uefa Champions League game against Benfica.
"I thank Almighty God that I finally got my work permit today. As I speak with you now, I am packing my luggage and ready to board the plane with my wife and baby to Scotland. I am leaving Israel on time to see if I can still gate crash into Celtic’s Champions League squad for Wednesday,” Ambrose said excitedly over the phone.
The Super Eagles midfielder was a deadline day signing by the Scottish side.
