Both Kano Pillars and Kwara United are reportedly on the trail of top Enyimba striker Rasaq Adegbite. Adegbite shone brightly in the colours of the Flying Antelopes, Enugu Rangers and this earned him a switch to former Caf Champions League back to back winners Enyimba during the mid season transfer window.
A close source of the dependable goal poacher told Goal.com that Adegbite is still considering the two clubs and other options available to him before making up his mind on where to go to.
"I don't think Rasaq will be in the colours of Enyimba next season. He is looking for a fresh challenge after all that transpired last season," the source said.
"I have been told that Kwara United and Kano Pillars have both inquired about him while others are still talking from afar. He will soon decide on which club to pick from the long list of his admirers," the source said.
The source said Adegbite is growing frustrated with life at Aba after the club placed a high clearance fee on his head when South African club Free State Stars came to Enyimba for business transaction after the player impressed during trials with the club.
Goal.com contacted the striker but he declined to say anything on where his future lies but affirmed that he could move on to another club on the approval of Enyimba.
Adegbite's unique selling point is his calmness in the 18 yard box plus the venom from his boots when he is left alone in the vital area.
Pillars are the league title holders while Kwara United barely survived relegation after their 2-0 home win over 3SC of Ibadan in the last match of the season.
