Rangers striker Francis Chikeluba Ofoedu has signed a short term deal with Turkish Division One outfit Trabzon Karadenizspor Kulubu.
Ofoedu who travelled three weeks ago impressed officials of the club and was promptly given a short term contract to watch him before he can be given a full contract if he further impresses officials of the club.
Ofoedu who joined Rangers from the Univeristy of Nigeria Teaching Hospital scored 12 goals in the just ended season.
Ofoedu said on his fan page on Facebook that he is happy that he has signed for a foreign club which will further boost his career as a footballer.
Rangers media officer Foster Chime noted that Ofoedu will do well for his club.
"We have always known that he is a player that is poised to make the headlines and I am not surprised that he has moved to Turkey," Chime told Goal.com.
