The camp of the national team bubbled on Monday evening as 15 players had a work out with the team handlers in preparation for the game against Liberia

Israel based Super Eagles first choice in  goal, Vincent Enyeama has been permitted by Nigeria  chief coach Stephen Keshi to arrive camp on Wednesday for the make or mar final 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying first leg game against Liberia.

In a chat with shortly after the evening training session of the team on Tuesday, Keshi disclosed: “It is only Enyeama who has a match to play tomorrow for his club that I have permitted to arrive camp on Wednesday. All other invited foreign based players are to arrive Abuja latest Tuesday morning.

“You can also see that [Victor] Moses and Obiora [Nwankwo] trained with us [Monday evening] and as I speak with you two other players namely Ikechukwu Uche and Elderson Echiejile arrived our hotel camp as we trained here (at the training pitch of the Abuja National Stadium) ,” Keshi disclosed.

Moses and Nwankwo were impressive in the two a-side which pitched the two players against each other and they enjoyed themselves as the training lasted.

Keshi, however, confirmed injury worries to his dependable defensive midfielder, Reuben Gabriel of Kano Pillars who did not train with the rest of the players in the Monday evening workout.  The coach was optimistic about the player's readiness for the match in Monrovia come Saturday.

"We will see as it goes tomorrow in training. He is good and he is fit so if he can kick the ball well with the side of his foot and he can give me 90 percent then I will take him (to Liberia)”, Keshi promised.

The 15 Super Eagles players that trained at the training pitch of the Abuja National Stadium Monday evening included goalkeepers Chigozie Agbim and Daniel Akpeyi. Others were Sani Sanusi, Azubuike Egwueke, Moses, Uche Henry, Godfrey Oboabuna, Solomon Jabason, Nwankwo Obiora, Phillip Asuquo, Zango Umar, Reuben Gabriel and Ejike Uzoenyi.

The Eagles trained on the grass pitch of Abuja National stadium at 5.30pm.
