The coach of the Kano side says nothing will stop them from winning the league shield this season as they play their last game next Friday against Sunshine in Ijebu-Ode
Ganaru told Goal.com in Lagos that he is sure they will beat Sunshine Stars in Ijebu Ode on the last day of the season - which is next Friday.
Kano Pillars with 64 points need an outright win against the Akure side to win the league trophy for the second time.
"I am optimistic that we are going to do the work and get to lay our hands on the trophy after the game against Sunshine Stars," said Ganaru to Goal.com.
"There is this confidence in the team that will see us past Sunshine Stars. That is the same spirit that we used to beat Akwa United in week 37 in Uyo.
"Nobody gave us a chance against Akwa United. But we got the three points and nobody will also reckon with us against Sunshine Stars and we are going to win in Ijebu Ode.
"The league is in our hands. All we have to do is to beat Sunshine Stars and it will be over. The moment we win in Ijebu Ode, no other result is important for us.
"That is why we are serious about the game against Sunshine Stars. I don't want to think about the results from Rangers and Lobi Stars game. That is because we are capable of getting the job in Ijebu Ode to end the season with 67 points.
"We cannot depend on any club to do the work for us. We must do it ourselves and I believe we can do it on September 7 in Ijebu Ode against Sunshine Stars," Ganaru added.
Kano Pillars will win the title if they beat Sunshine Stars on the least day of the season, as Lobi Stars with 63 points and Rangers with 61 cannot overtake the Kano side even when they win their last matches in Kaduna and Enugu.
