NPL hotshot has signed a 3-year contract with the Egyptian side after the Russian Embassy failed to issue him a visa to honour his pre-contract with Amkar Perm.
Aneke shot to national prominence last season when he scored 20 goals - an all-time high number of goals in a season, while playing for Kaduna United.
A move to Gent of Belgium will later fall through and he returned to join Warri Wolves. The striker told Goal.com that he decided to start his overseas sojourn with the Egyptian side because of their seriousness to have him which they showed by signing him even without kicking a ball.
The record goal poacher is expected to arrive Egypt Friday for his routine medical.
"I am happy to inform you that I have signed a three year contract with Al Mastry of Egypt,"Aneke told Goal.com.
"I had to start from the Egyptian League because the Russian Embassy frustrated my bid to travel down to join Amkar Perm but I am not bitter about it," Aneke added.
The Enugu born player, who scored five goals this season and has been capped once by Nigeria, was linked with another Egyptian club Al Ahly before he finally signed for Al Masry.
