Heartland striker, Brendan Ogbu will be in South Africa on Thursday to train with Supersport United with a view to signing for the team if the coaches find him suitable for a contract.
Ogbu who scored the winning goal against Lobi Stars in the finals of the Federation Cup told Goal.com that it is important that he travels on Wednesday to get there on Thursday.
"I am right now in Enugu, but I should be on my way to South Africa on Wednesday so that I can have a full day training session with the team.
"The transfer window ends on Friday and if there will any hope for me to play in South Africa this season, I must be in the country on Thursday.
"I am confident that I can grab a shirt in that team because I am sure of what I can do on the field of play. I am motivated with the way I played against Lobi Stars.
"I did my best in the game because it was an opportunity for me to show what I can do.And I thank God that He helped me become part of history.
"So I am earger to do my best in Supersport colours if I am considered worthy of a shirt in the team," Ogbu added.
