The Naze Millionaires successfully defended their title after a slim defeat of Lobi at the Teslim Balogun Stadium on Sunday
Brendan Ogbu scored the winning goal late in the second half after Jolly Osas had cancelled Bassey Ezekiel's early effort.
The match started with Lobi reaching for the jugular as Ezekiel scored for the challengers in the fifth minute to earn them some much needed confidence.
Osas helped the champions back into reckoning on 37 minutes. It was Ogbu's 88th min goal that finally earned them the victory.
Prime FC won the third place match 3-1 on penalties after regulation ended 1-1 against Kano Pillars. Gambo Mohammed scored for Pillars as they took the lead into the second period before Isah Akoh equalised for Prime.
"We were determined to win the trophy because of the promise we had made to Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha," said match winner Ogbu.
Heartland coach Ndubuisi Nduka expressed gratefulness to the Almighty for leading the team to another Federation Cup title.
