Former Enyimba striker, Uche Kalu has disclosed that he is ready to prove his worth with his new Turkish side, Caykur Rizespor.
Kalu who joined the club last week noted that in proving his worth, he will work hard to help the club back to the elite division.
Kalu said, through his lawyer, Chike Onyeacho that he will take his sojourn in Turkey serious because it is the beginning of new things to come for him.
"I am happy with this new development. I am looking forward to another phase in my career as a footballer. I want to do my best because the club has reposed so much confidence in me.
"I know that they will expect me to score a lot of goals, but I want to say that I am ready to do my best. The club will improve my game and I will put in my best for them.
Uche Kalu who recently lost his father in Aba had been training with the Super Eagles preparing to face Liberia on September 8 in Monrovia and could be in action this weekend for his new club.
