The team manager of the Kano side is confident they will qualify for the finals of the competition

Kano Pillars' team manager, Aminu Abdul has said that he is sure they will beat Lobi Stars in today's semi-final game of the Federation Cup game at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar.

Abdul noted that they have the right calibre of players to play in the finals of the competition on Sunday in Lagos.

"We have the right mix of players and you can testify to the fact that we have done well in the Nigeria Premier League.

"All our players are around and fit and it is going to be a big battle. Lobi Stars are a good side and play good football. They have in fact surprised a lot of people in the Nigeria Premier League," said Aminu.

"They also have young attackers who have done well this season and are highly motivated.

"But all that will not count today when we face in Calabar in the evening. I am so sure that we are going to win the match. We are gunning for a double this season.

"We are currently on top of the log in the Nigeria Premier League, and we intend to remain there and also add the Federation Cup this season," Aminu said.

The second semi-final will be played in Ilorin between Heartland and Prime of Oshogbo.
