Izu Azuka, Godfrey Oboabona and Moses Ocheje have rejoined their Super Eagles colleagues in Abuja after helping their team beat ASO Chlef in Algeria on Friday
The Eagles have a 2013 Africa Nations Cup qualifier against the Lone Stars of Liberia on September 8 in Monrovia and after a warm up encounter with Niger Republic in Niamey the team has refused the temptation of embarking on a break hence the directive toall the players to return to camp Monday.
The Akure Gunners' striker, Izu Azuka disclosed to Goal.com that he and his two other colleagues will return to the national team camp on Monday to continue with their desperate battle for shirts in the team.
"Yes we are returning to camp on Monday. We have done our best for our club and now it is the turn of the national team and it should be our priority hence our desire to go back.
"We still believe that we have what it takes to represent our fatherland and we will continue to do our utmost best until we are recognised," added Azuka, who is his team's highest goals scorer in the Champions League with five goals.
