ABS FC rules out relegation at the end of the season

The Ilorin side has boasted that nothing will make them play in the lower National League next season

Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC have stated that they will do everything possible to remain in the Nigeria Premier League next season. The Ilorin based side has consequently ruled out relegation when this season ends.

ABS are placed in the 17th on the 20-team log with 46 points but have two home games and if they win the games will move up on the table to 52 points.

Club team manager, Alloy Chukwuemeka told Goal.com that he is supremely confident that the team will avoid the drop to the National League.

"When you see us play football, you will notice that we are not a candidate for relegation. So there is no way we are going to play in the National League next season.

"We have 46 points right now, but we are also playing Susnhine Stars and our last game is against Ocean Boys. We intend to win the matches and with 52 points and good goals, I know we are going to escape.

"My players know what is at stake and are raring to go in the remaining two matches. The game against Sunshine Stars is an outstanding match and we are going to host Ocean Boys at home," Chukwuemeka said.

Ocean Boys, Rising Stars, Jigawa Stars, Niger Tornadoes and Wikki Tourists are the other teams that are also threatened with relegation.
