The Nigerian youngster may finally get his dream move to Chelsea as Wigan chairman softens his stance

Nigerian international, Victor Moses may finally get his dream move to European champions, Chelsea before the start of the 2012/13 season if words from Wigan chairman, Dave Whelan are to be believed.

"I have spoken to Chelsea's chief executive and they are easy to deal with,” Whelan told ESPN.

Chelsea have been on the trail of the winger all summer with about three bids rejected.

"We have told them the price and they will come back and agree it or not.

But Moses who has refused to sign a contract extension to the last 12 months will be able to leave on a free at the end of next season though Wigan will be paid some compensation as the player is under 24 years.

"We would much prefer the player to sign a new contract and stay but he wants to go to Chelsea and it's a good club so we cannot stand in his way," added Whelan.

Wigan value the winger at £10 million but it seems that a compromise fee of £8.5million will be agreed.
