Nigeria's U-20 Women's national team will test their might against three yet to be identified opponents in Korea in their build up to the FIFA World Cup in Japan
Nigeria's U-20 Women's national team; Falconets are scheduled to play three build up matches in Korea where they are presently having residential camping in their run-in to the Japan 2012 World Cup a top official of the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) has disclosed.
The Nigeria's representatives left the country on August 1st for Korea and actually started intensive training on Saturday about two days after their arrival to the Far East.
The NFF's Director of Competitions, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi told Goal.com that arrangements have been made for the girls to engage in three friendly encounters in Korea before their departure to Japan the venue of the competition.
Dr Sanusi told Goal.com: "They (Falconets) are in fine shape and have started preparation for the World Cup because I always receive mails from them. The players have been boosted by the arrival of their training kits from Adidas and they are in high spirits to do the nation proud.
"They will play three friendly matches before leaving Korea but the names of their opponents have not been made public," Sanusi said.
Falconets who won silver medal two years ago in Germany are drawn in Group B with Italy, Brazil and South Korea in the competition billed for Japan between August 19th and September 9th, 2012.
