The former Everton defender has said that he is happy to have completed his permanent move to the Turkish capital where he anticipates winning lots of silverware
Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo has expressed his joy at finally signing a permanent deal with Turkish side Fenerbahce where he has spent the last two seasons on loan from Everton.
Last season, Yobo won the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce and he has made it very clear he is very much at home in Istanbul after his loan spells there.
Speaking to Goal.com, Yobo confirmed that he has finally joined Fenerbahce where he hopes to win more titles for the club this season.
“I am the happiest man in the world now,” said the 31 year-old. “I want to thank all my fans, friends and family who have stayed behind me, and I promise to raise the flag higher every day.”
Yobo signed a three year contract with the Turkish giants that will see him earn 2 million Euros annually (396 million naira per annum). Fenerbahce will pay 2.5 million Euros to Everton for his services.
