Victor Moses is the subject of another bid from Chelsea that is reported to be in the region of £7.5million (about N2 billion).
Though it does not still match Wigan’s valuation of the winger – at £10 million, Moses could leave for mere compensation at the end of the season if he does not sign a new contract at the DW Stadium outfit.
Moses, 21, has been the subject of multiple bids from the London club and has indicated at every turn that he would love to join the FA Cup champions.
The Nigerian international was bought by Wigan in 2010 from Crystal Palace, who will collect a percentage of whatever transfer fees Wigan get for him. He scored 11 goals in 69 games for Palace and made his debut in a 1-1 draw between Palace and Cardiff City in November 2007.
At Wigan Moses has scored nine times in 79 appearances, six of which were in last season’s campaign.
