The newly promoted team will have the opportunity of playing in a brand new stadium next season
Nasarawa United will from next season play their Premier League matches at the newly refurbished Lafia Stadium.
Nasarawa moved to Kafanchan Stadium for their matches in the National League all through the season. But they are prepared and making arrangements to return to Lafia when the new season begins.
Nasarawa United chairman Barrister Isaac Danladi told Goal.com that the Stadium will be completed before the start of the new season in the Nigeria Premier League.
"Every area in the stadium is being taken care of, the playing arena, spectators’ stands and the dressing rooms. I have visited the stadium recently and construction work is going on very well.
"I asked the contractor in charge and he assured that the stadium will be ready for us to use when the new season starts. Our supporters have missed watching us and I am confident that they will see us play live next season.
"The Government is doing so well in re-constructing the Stadium and my players are happy that they will have to play in front of the supporters.
"This is great motivation for us and we are not going to joke with it," Danladi said.
Nasarawa United, Nembe City, El-Kanemi and Bayelsa United gained promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season in the Nigeria National League.
