Nigeria Premier League adjusts match schedules

The League organising body has decided to postpone the game between Kaduna United and Heartland so that all week 35 matches will take place the same day

The Nigeria Premier League has adjusted match schedules in Week 35 matches of the season.

All Week 35 league matches will now hold on Sunday July 29 as earlier announced, including the fixtures between Sharks and Heartland as well as the game between Ocean Boys of Brass and Kaduna United that were, hitherto, moved to Monday, July 30.

Acting Head of Competitions, Auwalu Jada who confirmed the adjustment also stated that all Week 36 matches will be played on Wednesday, August 1.

According to Jada, the rescheduled fixture between Kaduna United and Heartland FC earlier scheduled for Thursday, July 26, has been further put on hold.

However, the other rescheduled long outstanding fixture between Lobi Stars of Makurdi and Sunshine Stars of Akure will still hold as scheduled on Thursday at the Emmanuel Atong Stadium in Katsina Ala, Benue State.

A new date would be fixed for the outstanding game between Kaduna United and Heartland.

Rangers are on top of the league table with 58 points from 34 matches.
