The trainer of the Northern club is confident his team can win a double this year
Pillars, who are second on the league table with 55 points, will play El-Kanemi in the last group game of Lagos center of the Federation Cup to qualify for the quarter finals of the competition on Friday.
Ganaru said in a television program, NaijaMade, that he is sure Kano Pillars can go ahead to win the two trophies.
"I am preparing my mind to win the two trophies. I have told my players that it is possible and their minds are tuned towards making it happen.
"For a long time, Kano Pillars have not done very well in the Federation Cup. But everything is working well for us this year. We are playing El-Kanemi in our last game of the group.
"So we have a good chance of remaining in Lagos if we top the group. From the quarter finals anything can happen.
"We are running neck to neck with Rangers who are presently on top of the table. But I know that we will soon overtake them and win the Nigeria Premier League trophy.
"I have the players to do it. The management is working hard and the Kano State Government is also doing their best.
"People will think I am boasting, but I know the stuff my players are made of. We are now a solid team and it will be hard for us to lose any match in both competitions till the end of the season," Ganaru said.
