Sunshine Stars Medrano to resume training on Monday

The Cameroon-born player has expressed his happiness that the hamstring injury scare will only rule him out for a few days

Injured Sunshine Stars' midfielder, Medrano Tamen has informed that the scan conducted on the injury he copped in a CAF Champions League match last weekend revealed it was not as serious as initially feared.

"I will receive treatment for about 3 or 4 days but by Monday I will be ready to train with my team mates with the match against the Tunisians in view.

"I want to do everything possible to ensure that we stage a comeback against Etoile du Sahel after the disappointing home loss. "

"We have resolved to beat Etoile Du Sahel to make up for the disappointing loss to Esperance. It is possible and I know we can do it," the former Tiko United of Cameroun midfielder said. Sunshine travel to Sousse next week Wednesday as guests of Etoile du Sahel.
