The Cameroon-born player has expressed his happiness that the hamstring injury scare will only rule him out for a few days
Injured Sunshine Stars' midfielder, Medrano Tamen has informed Goal.com that the scan conducted on the injury he copped in a CAF Champions League match last weekend revealed it was not as serious as initially feared.
The Camerounian import was substituted in the first half of his club's 0-2 home loss to Esperance Sportive of Tunisia to hamstring complaints but the test on the troubled spot showed he would only receive treatment for the remainder of the week and would be fully ready to resume training with his colleagues next week Monday.
"I am happy to tell you that the scan showed that the injury was not much and that I should be ready in time for our next Champions League fixture with Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia.
"I will receive treatment for about 3 or 4 days but by Monday I will be ready to train with my team mates with the match against the Tunisians in view.
"I want to do everything possible to ensure that we stage a comeback against Etoile du Sahel after the disappointing home loss. "
"We have resolved to beat Etoile Du Sahel to make up for the disappointing loss to Esperance. It is possible and I know we can do it," the former Tiko United of Cameroun midfielder said. Sunshine travel to Sousse next week Wednesday as guests of Etoile du Sahel.
