Shooting Stars' Raheem Olabisi set to play first game after Gombe stabbing fiasco

The 3SC player will start his first game in two months after he recovered from the injury he sustained in Gombe

Shooting Stars forward Raheem Olabisi, who was stabbed when they played against Gombe United, will return to action this weekend when the Ibadan side travel to Benin to face Ocean Boys.

According to 3SC media officer Jubril Arowolo, Raheem is in good shape for the game against Ocean Boys.

"He has been training very well since he fully recovered and he might be in the team that will travel to Benin to face Ocean Boys.

"He will surely reinforce the team as we strive to finish well on the league table. We are happy for him because what happened to him is enough to demoralise any player.

"But he is back with vigour and determination. And I am sure that he will increase the stakes in the attacking line up of the team. We still intend to do our best in the remaining matches this season. Anything can still happen.

"Raheem is looking sharp in training and he wants to come back with a bang from this weekend," Arowolo said.

Shooting Stars are on 10th position on the log with 39 points.
