The Rubin Kazan forward spent some time with deprived kids as well as being a guest at the channels Kids Cup final
Super Eagles weapon of mass destruction Obafemi Martins on Children's day spent time with two orphanage homes in Lagos.
Martins, who recently launched the Russian version of his foundation, donated gifts and cash to the SOS Village at Isolo and the Little Saints Orphanage Home.
Obagoal was also a guest at the 2012 edition of the Channels Kids Cup played at the Agege Stadium where he expressed delight at the organisation.
“Today is my day, I’m still a kid, and am very happy to be here at the motherless homes and to be part of Channels Television kids’ football competition. You can see that Channels TV are doing great and this is a way to develop talents and find the new Peter Rufai and Austin Okocha. I am really happy to be part of this, and I thank the management of Channels TV too,” he said.
Martins further admitted that he hopes to do more for Nigerian youths and kids very soon. The Rubin Kazan star who is currently on holiday later paid a courtesy visit to the governor of Lagos State .
