Baba Ganaru: Kano Pillars can still win the league title
The coach of the northern team remains confident in the ability of his lads to maintain a title push till the season's end even after their recent series of losses on the road
Kano Pillars coach Baba Ganaru remains confident that his team still have all its takes to win the league title this season.
This comes from the young coach who is attending a seminar for all Nigeria Premier League coaches in Abuja at the moment.
"We are still focused and confident, although I know the team dropped points in the two away matches to Shooting Stars and Kaduna United, but we are not deterred.
“We will continue to fight hard until the end. The league is still open and anything can happen so we are steadfast and our mission is intact,” Ganaru told Goal.com.
The team is on its way to play a third straight away game to Enyimba of Aba and have promised that they will stick to their normal game of attacking football.
Kano Pillars are presently fourth on the table with 36 points from 23 matches.
