Warri Wolves sign Daniel Etor from Niger Tornadoes

The young player has left hot Minna for the seaside town of Warri where he hopes to make a big splash for the Caf Confederation Cup campaigners

Caf Confederations Cup campaigners Warri Wolves have signed promising youngster Daniel Etor from Niger Tornadoes for the remainder of the 2011/12 Nigeria Premier League season.

One of the representatives of the player, Tunde Fabiyi who is a Fifa licensed agent revealed the news to Goal.com Thursday.

He disclosed that Etor signed the deal on Wednesday in Minna when Warri Wolves came to the State as guests of Tornadoes in a Nigeria Premier League Week 20 tie at the Bako Kotangora Stadium which they lost 1-0 to a late strike from Sibi Gwar.

"I can confirm to you that Daniel Etor just signed for Warri Wolves. He has moved on from Tornadoes. He is to remain in Warri till the end of the season before a renewal can be activated," Fabiyi expressed.

Fabiyi also quoted Etor as saying that he was happy to have made the switch to Warri for the sake of his career and that his immediate targets are to distinguish himself for his new club and to continue to attract the attention of the Flying Eagles technical crew as he seeks a shirt in the Under-20 squad.

Etor recently received the attention of Super Eagles' coaches who invited him to come and train with the home based Eagles owing to his exploits with Tornadoes.

Besides Etor, Warri Wolves had earlier in Week 9 captured then Tornadoes' leading scorer, Azuka Ebinum.
