Former Heartland of Owerri striker, Joshua Obaje has boasted that his new team, Black Leopards of South Africa will beat Warri Wolves in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup which comes up on Sunday.
Obaje told Goal.com on arrival in Lagos that he is sure of victory because they have a very good team.
"We have been doing well this season and we hope to continue with our excellent performance in the game against Warri Wolves on Sunday.
"I am confident that we are going to win that match because we are in a serious mood to win all matches.
"My optimism is based on the fact that we have been doing well in the league in South Africa.
"My colleagues are also rearing to go because we know that a good result in this first leg will take away the tension for the second leg in South Africa.
"I am not saying that Warri Wolves is not a good side. All I am saying is that we have the right calibre of players that can pull off a win in Warri.
"Since I am a Nigerian, I know a lot of the players with Warri Wolves and I have also played with them but we will get a good result on Sunday," Obaje added. Obaje joined the South African team last year and is now an influential member of the team.
