The Rubin Kazan forward is targeting a goal against FC Rostov in the last four of the cup game
Forgotten Super Eagles forward Obafemi Martins has said that he hopes to score for Rubin Kazan in the Russian Cup semi final game against FC Rostov on Wednesday.
Speaking from his base in Russia, the power playing forward expressed his ambition to add to his goals tally in the encounter.
“Of course I want to score, but scoring is easy, playing is somehow hard. I hope to score that's if I get to play and am looking forward for the day to come,” said Martins.
“I love to score and if I score for Kazan I will celebrate.”
Martins last represented his club side on Saturday in the Russian league game against Dynamo but failed to hit the net.
He has scored one goal for his club this season after lack of playing time. But he is back to full form now after scoring against rich club Anzhi Makhachkala a fortnight ago.
