All is not well in the camp of Nigeria's representative in the Caf Champions League Dolphins as players of the club have perfected plans not to put a respectable performance in the match against Coton Sport of Cameroun.
Goal.com learnt that the players did not train the way they usually do on Friday evening because they were not happy with the way the owners of the club have neglected them.
A source close to the club told Goal.com that the players are being owed 23 match bonuses from last season and no percentage of the sign on fees have been paid.
One of the players who preferred anonymity told Goal.com that they have endured for a long time.
"This is not what we bargained for when we signed for this club at the beginning of the season.
"Without the players there can't be Dolphins. Some make money because we laboured to carry the flag of the club.
"In all the matches we have played this season, we have only collected five match bonuses.
"We don't know how the match against Coton Sport will look like but whatever comes, we take.
"Some people will make so much money from that match and all we get will be promises".
Efforts to get officials of the club proved abortive as they refused to pick their phones.
