The Spain international has endured a tough start to life in Serie A on the back of his summer move, but believes he can thrive alongside the Argentine forward
The Spain international has endured a tough start to life in Serie A after moving to Turin on a free transfer following his departure from Athletic Bilbao at the end of last season.
But having featured alongside Tevez on a more regular basis in recent weeks, the 28-year-old is confident that the pair can flourish together in the months ahead.
“So far, Carlos and I've played a few games together. We will improve in time. He’s a great player and I get on well with him," he told AS.
Llorente then reflected on his decision to leave Spain for pastures new and insists he has no regrets.
“Leaving Athletic Bilbao was a good thing, as I have signed for a big club that is helping me to grow," he added.
"I am very thankful that I have worked with a coach like [former Bilbao coach] Marcelo Bielsa. The methods he taught me in Spain are similar to the ones I found in Italy.”
And the striker also tipped Bianconeri team-mate Paul Pogba to make his mark on the game as he continues to shine in the Juve midfield.
“He's young and he has a big future. At Juve, he is doing very well.”
