The Italian coach has acknowledged that his side benefited from a wrong call by the official as they recorded a hard-fought victoryJuventus coach Antonio Conte has admitted that the referee wrongly disallowed Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi's goal against the Turin giants in Wednesday's hard-fought 2-1 Serie A win.
Paloschi looked to have restored his side's lead shortly after Fabio Quagliarella cancelled out Cyril Thereau's opener, but the referee disallowed the goal after his assistant raised his flag for offside.
Replays showed the decision proved to be the wrong one and ultimately cost Chievo as Alessandro Bernardini's own goal in the 66th minute made the difference between the two sides in the end.
"On Wednesday there was an incident that went in our favour and we’ll take heed of it," Conte said on the club's official website.
The 44-year-old then went on to acknowledge that there's every chance the Bianconeri could be the victim of a poor refereeing decision in the future and stressed that he would react to any mistakes in an appropriate manner.
"We could have one go against us in future and we’ll accept such a decision with the same sportsmanship shown by [Giuseppe] Sannino and [Luca] Campedelli."
Juventus climbed to joint second spot in the Serie A table following Wednesday's results.
