Zaccardo relishes facing former side Parma
The Italy international full-back has said how he would like to make his first appearance for his new club against his former team when the two face each other at the weekend
Cristian Zaccardo would love to make his debut for AC Milan against his former club Parma on Friday night.
The right-back joined the Rossoneri in the January transfer window after three-and-a-half years with the Crociati.
“It would be exciting to start against Parma but the important thing is to play games – it doesn't matter whether that's against Parma or anyone else.” Zaccardo told the Milan Channel.
“If I do start on Friday it will certainly be a good occasion for me personally.”
AC Milan are currently fifth in Serie A after the 1-1 draw with Cagliari last weekend. They are 14 points behind league leaders Juventus, and three away from a Champions League place.
