Lazio president Claudio Lotito believes they can keep on winning without Germany international hitman Miroslav Klose.
Klose has been ruled out for around two months after suffering knee ligament damage in Sunday’s defeat against Genoa.
But Lotito is convinced his charges can maintain their push for Europe's premier competition without their talisman.
“We have won a lot of games without Klose, so let's see what happens," Lotito told reporters.
“As long as we're in a position to be competitive at the end of the season, who knows what will happen.”
The striker, who has netted 10 goals in 20 games, has helped fire his side into third place in Serie A, but the Biancocelesti attacker is likely to be ruled out for the vital clashes against Napoli, Milan and Fiorentina.
