AC Milan boss Allegri hoping to keep Robinho at club
The Rossoneri coach says he will do all he can to keep the Brazil international at the club and is confident that the transfer speculation will not affect his performances
Massimiliano Allegri has said that he wants Robinho to stay at AC Milan despite the forward wanting to move back to his homeland.The former Manchester City player is looking to re-join his former club Santos but the Rossoneri boss has made it clear that he rates the Brazil star highly.
"He is showing his importance again this season with assists and goals. He always puts in a solid performance," Allegri told a press conference.
"We will see what happens in January, but I will do my best to keep Robinho at the club. I am sure that he will remain professional through all of the speculation."
The Italian trainer went on to speak about his old club Pescara who are set to face his Milan side on Sunday.
"I am very attached to Pescara due to my past there and I am happy that they have progressed well. Vladimir Weiss is a great player and will certainly be one to keep an eye on."
