The Colombian said that the triumph over the Serie A champions on Sunday has gone a long way towards helping the Rossoneri rediscover their battered confidence
Robinho’s 31st minute penalty was enough to give Massimiliano Allegri’s side the points at San Siro, and the 36-year-old has said that the win could be vital for the rest of the campaign.
"We realised that we can beat anyone [after the Juventus win]," he told reporters.
"We now know that we can beat anyone in the league. Every race is different, but if the team continues with this attitude things will no doubt be easier."
Sunday’s win was Milan’s second in succession after they beat Anderlecht 3-1 in the Champions League earlier in that week.
Allegri’s side next league game sees them face Catania on Friday at the Stadio Angelo Massimino.
